this is my sketch entry for spirit day or bullying awareness day ..
any way originality I was going to do something with sexuality since I'm both a lesbian and quite large I know whats its like .. but I decided instead to go with my oc Zia
I felt this better depicted the hurt of bulling both in the story concept witch deal with interracial/ inter species hatted or just ignorance and intolerance and supporting the people you love no matter the cost.

this is quite latter in the story..
but basically she got into a fight because she supported mutant kind and befriended and worked with one of there kind to try to help with the peace effort and helping to find a cure of the plague thats infected her body
her mechanical arm was gift from a dear mutant friend ceslar.
out of effort to stop the plague from spreading,
she tried to cut / remove the source of the infection by amputating her own arm unfortunate this only made it worse.
the infection is spreading faster now, and the gass mask she wears is one of the only things keeping her from dieing.
but its only a matter of time till the infection reaches her heart so she in a race against time to help her people from the war and to find a cure for what iiled her and meany others in the revelation or upbringing of the creatures. and to repay her debt to her friend ceslar who not only crafted machinery for her but also saved her life twice. and could potentially near the end of the story be a love interest )

ether way I appreciate your interest in my work. and it be great to get my work out there and support a good cause.
(...although this docent really display rising up from bulling but rather the pain that unnecessary hatred of any sort can bring whether its fictional like this charter or bulling in real life ...but I'm not sure if it really shows rising above bullying or overcoming bullying... In my comic concept shes acualy displayed as a strong charter but that side of her is not shown in this sketch.)
you'd make a really impressive concept artist seriously.
your work is pretty awesome to.
as for the color I tend to play around and although I started off with a colder lighter purple shades I felt the richer warmer colors did the sketch more justice.
